  BULLRUN  Kennels and/or Bulldogge Ranch was started by Dale Hillegas in the early 1980's, with the goal of producing working farm utility bulldogs of the Olde English Type. In 1987 we first registered them as the Mountain Bulldog with the Animal Research Foundation (ARF) in Quinlan, Texas. Over the years we have kept, bred, screened, and developed this type of "Olde English Bulldogge" to be farm capable for our own use and enjoyment. 

Although we have never advertised many pups for sale, we have given away many to friends and family. Today, we still breed "original standard" Olde English Bulldogges for functionality first. We use a line breeding program from our personally screened and OFA certified foundation* and refer to them as "Mountain Line Olde English." By using our unique Bulldogges for farm utility and selecting for agility, sound friendly temperament, and natural guardians, we have produced versatile and hardy bulldogges for a number of generations while avoiding breeding extremes. Our Dogges are held to a high level of athletic ability and trend toward that end of the confirmation Standard. 

 2022 marks the 35th year we have maintained the passionate non-profit hobby of working and breeding Bulldogges.

 We have now redesigned our website so that we may have a place to publicly display our dogs and advertise a few pups from time to time. Our Bulldogges were registered with the ARF, these records we still maintain. We also register with IOEBA, and the NBA. For uniquely classic, sound, and work capable  " Olde English Bullddogges," BULLRUN is second to none!
